The annual Legislative Breakfast’s continued attendance for the past 14 years is a testament to the support of the Milford legislators, other Milford agencies, and parents. This important gathering offers those in attendance an opportunity to hear from the State Senator and three Representatives what is is happening with the budget and to acknowledge that they regard the best interest of the Milford community. Further, a question and answer opportunity is part of the agenda as well as personal time with the legislators. Kids Count also presents a Champion of Young Children to a community member, invites a third grade classroom to the event, who perform the Milford Song and finally representatives of four high schools who participated in the Milford Salvation Army Service Unit Annual Kettle Campaign.
